What is with all the winter blues?
IN the early stages of this new year I have found myself sitting in cafes amidst the crowds pushing through the chilled winter air. As the temperatures drop and the coats become even more insulated we can see the season mood set in. However here i refuse to give in to the month of blue mondays, financial despair and horrid colds and flu. NO here in fact i want to mix this all up with an activism of humour. Whilst we can look outside our window and see blue skies, only to be disappointed when we open our front door lets celebrate yet another year it may not be the “best one yet to happen” but lets go with the cliche, and try and enjoy the ability to wear the long skirts, oversized blazers and hiding underneath the brim of our winter hats! x
